Everyone has to breathe to live
It is our constant companion throughout our lifetime. We are born breathing and before we leave this earth, we take our last breath... but somewhere along the way, our breathing changes, and not always for the better. How we breathe has a direct impact on us physically, mentally and emotionally.
Unfortunately dysfunctional breathing and ill health are often interconnected. For example, if your breathing is too fast and chaotic often you will suffer with lack of concentration, anxiety and sleep issues. You are likely to move badly, often suffer with back/neck/shoulder pain and increase your risk of getting injured. These all negatively influence breathing patterns, feeding back to create a vicious cycle of inefficient breathing.
